Hey guys!

This will be my official last post as a Webmistress. Sorry that I've been really a bad Webmistress, for all the lack of updates!

Yeah, its Band Day tomorrow!

You people are really improving, I feel proud to see the achievement, secondary ones are also pregressing well! And what really motivates the leading batch to do even more comes from all these small little things, that we can find satisfaction in, replenishing our energy. So, do continue to improve alrights! (: You guys will be a great show at NBC.

But always remember, Pride comes before a Fall. So please do stay humble. If you think you are good, there's always room for improvement. Continue seeking improvement, instead of staying stagnant at the i-think-i'm-good-standard alright.

For secondary ones, do start looking forward to your Recitals okay (: And those who are catching up, good for you! Those who are not, please do not start panicking. You are only a two-months old baby in band. Take your time. Steady wins the race. Like the bunny and the tortoise story is it, haha. Okay, in other words, take it at your own path. (: You always have nice and friendly seniors, (yes, like ME:D) around to help. Although we'll be leaving soon, but feel free to approach us for help anytime alright, (: you always have ever-ready-seniors also. (:

HEY DEAR AHBAND!

Soon, the sec4s are gonna handover to sec3s and we've our new leading batch for NBC, Japan trip and SYF!!!!!
You guys have a great deal of vvvvvvv impt events coming up, and I'm sure you'll all be tied up! Then, the stress and urgency will all come in, but it is then when you guys will show us and Mr & Mrs Chua how well you're able to survive and pull through and do well under all these pressuring times!

JIAYOU AHBAND!

I know everything seems to be coming too soon, but good things come to an end! So yeah, hope that by the time it's handover, you guys will be able to take on this responsibility as the leading batch, and bring AHBand to greater heights! Haha.. And to the rest of the band, support your seniors and cont learning and improving aft every self prac, sectional, band prac, performance, and concert!

Anyw, for the sec1s who're still clueless abt what handover is ...
Handover, as literally as it means, is the time where the leading batch (sec4s) pass on the responsibility to the sec3s. During this time, top5 and comm posts will be allocated to some sec3s and sec2s. Section leaders and asst too!
The Top5 is made up of the Band Major, Asst Band Major, Drum Major, Concert Master/Mistress & General I/C. The band committee is made up of the Asst General In Charge, Quarter Masters, Treasurer, Asst Treasurer, Librarians, Asst Librarian, Uniform I/C, Asst Uniform I/C, NYAA (national youth achievement award) I/C & Asst NYAA I/C.
The current AHBand Ex-Co is at the right of this pg under "somebodies", so you guys can take a look if you're still blur about it!
But in 1++ wk's time, the list is gonna change!!!!! :D
HAHA. That calls for a great celebration!! (kidding)

So, hope all of you are excited for handover to come, haha.. I wanna see all of you ready to take over! That'd be awesome.. Not that you all want us to leave, but you all are READY, like READY STEADY POMPIPI!

We're in the midst of March hols, please remember to do your homework because you don't wanna be clearing up hol h/w when sch reopens! As for sec4s who're cracking their heads like me over handover, jiayou! Haha..
*Must still have sectionals ah! (That IS an order!)
*Band pracs are still on so your attendance is required! (Plus, since when is it that band pracs aren't compulsory? They never were and won't ever be! Haha! So, that goes into your common sense!)

Any questions or problems or what not, you all can consult us (seniors) yeah! Even studies also can, we've some really brainy ppl around, haha.. Please don't hold back or feel paiseh, shy or whatever okay! Aft all, we're gonna be "AFB" (that's Away From Band since there's AFK, HAHA!) for awhile, but will drop down occasionally whenever free, so do "make full use" of us (sec4s) as what Qian Lin has mentioned on Mon!

I know I should be slping right now, ohmytian, why am I not asleep yet, but anyw, felt like ranting here hahaha.. Hmm, many of your dear sec4s are staying up NOT because they don't wanna slp or too high, we're doing stuff and preparing this and that for concert, so yeah.. Haha..

Hope you all will really play your heart out kays, be the best, be your best!
And remember, your potential is NOT shallow HAHAHA. AND OHMYTIAN I JUST REALISED POTENTIAL IS 潜能 HAHAHAHAHAHA.. Sorry ah, lousy Chinese hahaha.. I kept thinking it was 浅能 so I actually told you all the wrong thing just now but anyw, just keep that in mind lah hors.. Haha..

HELLO AHBAND!!!

Haha, since Qian Lin has posted, I have decided to liven this blog up too! :D

Firstly, I'd like to ask all of you to go AHBand Chalet!! Cos it's gonna be sooooooooo fun (of course!) w me around HAHAHAHA.
Anyw, that's not the pt. Pt is, you get to meet super alot of awesomely cool ppl like me, and my dear batchmates, and alumni, and your own batchmates and jrs.. Haha, sounds like everyday meet de ppl right.. But of course, AHBand must be like family. Family everyday meet, AHBand every day meet. HAHA.. Well, yeah, just go and have fun lah.. Talk to ppl you don't always chat w, bond w ppl you're acquainted w (which is everyone) and all, yup..

Next, yes, Qian Lin has mentioned -> XMAS FIESTA & LA DANSE FINALE!!!!!!
XMAS FIESTA Jrs, esp sec1s, this is really your show. Go on and show your mama papa how good you are! Haha, and 展现 your prowess LOL.. (this is so kungfu oO) And sec2s, give your jrs support, altho youall are not required to coach and teach them yet, jiayou for them! Be a senior that they can go to if they have any difficulties, and that youall are capable of leading the jrs in future (I believe so). Sec3s, show the jrs's parents that they are in good hands! Haha, make sure that altho we are leaving the jrs to prac for this thing themselves, we also keep track of their progress and help them wherever we can. We don't have such a thing when we were younger in AHBand, so enjoy yourselves during the whole thing, even if not playing! See how our jrs have grown (HAHA)! &&& of course, show our teachers-in-charge, and Mr & Mrs Chua that we all can have fun while making music! :D

LA DANSE FINALE Sec1s, first concert in AHBand! Believe me, your first concert is usually the most memorable! And so, do strive hard to make sure that it is, positively! Moreover, youall will be sec2s during the concert! And sec2s, during the concert, youall will be sec3s! Upper sec, old, leading batch to come! You guys must really show that youall can pull your batch tgt, and chiong.. This concert may be just a concert, but it is a really impt stepping stone to NBC and then, SYF, in which youall will lead the band to. So, I really hope to see all of you 振作起来 and be ready to take up this responsibility yeah! Finally, my dear sec3s! It's our last concert in AHBand as an official member, so obviously, we want it to be a success! Let's make this a blast (yes blast, no more boomz hahaha), and show ppl that AHBand's not to be messed w (LOL).. Let them know that our 3 yrs in AHBand, the pia-ing and hiong-ness is not wasted. Show them that we are able to lead our jrs well, and improve the band. Also, take this chance to build rapport w alumni, teachers-in-chrage and Mr & Mrs Chua! We're leaving quite v soon, so 好关系 w alumni is impt, haha, and we must be grateful to those who've always been behind pushing us, and in front pulling us! So yeah! You get it uh..

Always be reminded to get your bandmates back on track! Help them however you can, esp thru playing, if you know better. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask your seniors or whoever that you think knows better.
We see you guys as family, so we won't leave you guys behind. Don't leave yourselves behind okay, we are family!
